THE GAME
Providence is a third-person sci-fi multiplayer survival shooter set in a vast, shifting universe. Players step into the role of Trailblazers, explorers who descend into dangerous alien environments to gather resources, uncover blueprints, and salvage advanced tech—everything needed to craft stronger gear, survive harsher challenges, and push deeper into the unknown.
Survival on a Loop
The alien zones Trailblazers venture into are known as Slipworlds—fragmented shards of distant planetoids filled with valuable loot, hostile creatures, and unpredictable anomalies. These unstable worlds phase in and out of existence, appearing only briefly before being consumed by the colossal force that created them: the Singularity. This mysterious entity looms overhead, ever-present and ever-consuming, its purpose still unknown.
After each expedition, Trailblazers return to The Hub, a secure asteroid base built far from anomalous activity. Here, players craft gear, upgrade equipment, trade resources, and prepare for their next descent into the Slipworlds.
The Singularity operates in cycles. With each cycle, it births entirely new Slipworlds—fresh biomes, creatures, challenges, and rewards. When a cycle ends, those worlds vanish completely. Their landscapes, secrets, and resources are gone forever. What players manage to extract, craft, or build during that cycle is preserved—except for Strands, a mysterious energy source tied directly to the Singularity that resets with every cycle.

Providence unfolds across multiple, interlocking loops. At the macro level, cycles define the rhythm of the universe—new worlds emerge, players adapt, and the experience evolves before resetting into something entirely new.
Within each cycle, Slipworlds repeatedly appear and collapse. Players must dive in, gather valuables, and escape before the world disintegrates. These recovered materials fuel progression: crafting, upgrading, and trading to reach deeper tiers of difficulty.
By blending survival, extraction shooter, and roguelite elements, Providence delivers a progression system that constantly refreshes itself—creating a game where every run is tense, rewarding, and filled with emergent gameplay moments.
Each session is a new story. Each cycle is a new world. And every choice pushes you further into the unknown.
