GAME ECONOMY
The economy of Providence is entirely resource-driven and player-defined. At its core is a commitment to a true free-to-play experience—one without microtransactions, item shops, or pay-to-win mechanics. Progress in Providence comes from skill, effort, and time, not from a credit card.
Our philosophy is simple: every Trailblazer deserves a level playing field.
A Harsh World, A Valuable Resource
Providence is a hostile frontier where every resource matters. Trailblazers must scour Slipworlds for materials to survive, craft gear, and push deeper into the cycle. Every suit of armor, every weapon, every tool, drone, and deployable is created by players using the resources and blueprints they extract.
There are no developer-supplied shortcuts. If it exists in the game, a player brought it out of the Slipworlds.
A Player-Driven Market
Because all resources originate from Slipworld expeditions, players determine the value of everything. Prices are shaped by:
supply and scarcity
risk versus reward
faction tension and competition
seasonal shifts in Slipworld cycles
community strategy and demand
Players gather, craft, trade, and resell at prices they choose. The economy thrives because every item is earned, not injected by the developer.
Providence is not just a survival game—it is an evolving ecosystem shaped by the people who inhabit it.
Blockchain Ownership & Transparency
To ensure fairness, integrity, and true ownership, all in-game resources and items are stored on the blockchain. Every action—crafting, trading, transferring, refining—is securely recorded and verifiable.
This provides Trailblazers with:
Decentralized item ownership
Transparent transaction history
Protection against duplication or manipulation
A trustworthy, player-first economy
The result is a world where value is real, progress matters, and every extraction run has lasting impact.
