Blueprints

Providence is a harsh universe, and beyond a handful of basics, Trailblazers depend entirely on the knowledge left behind by earlier explorers and alien civilizations that vanished long before humanity arrived. Blueprints are the schematics that preserve this knowledge—detailed instructions required to craft items capable of surviving the dangers of the Slipworlds.

Blueprints are essential. No item can be created without one. Some are common and widely circulated, while others are incredibly rare and exist in very limited supply.

One Blueprint, One Creation

Blueprints are consumed on use. Once a player crafts an item, the blueprint is expended and disappears, leaving behind the newly created asset that can be used or traded.

Like other resources and items in Providence, blueprints are freely tradable. Their rarity—and the demand for specific item types—often makes them extremely valuable, even if the blueprint isn’t meant for the player who found it.

Because every item in Providence begins with a blueprint, Trailblazers frequently hunt for them across Slipworlds. Whether discovered in ruins, pulled from dangerous creatures, or uncovered through exploration, blueprints represent opportunity, power, and progress.

In a world built on scarcity, knowledge is the most valuable resource of all.
