Factions
All Trailblazers arrive in Providence under the banner of the Empire — but unity rarely survives first contact with the anomaly. Providence is a realm of distortions, secrets, and conflicting ideologies. Some cling to Imperial doctrine; others find new purpose in the mysteries that existed here long before humanity set foot among the Slipworlds.
Survival may bring Trailblazers together, but belief, ambition, and fear ultimately drive them apart.

Explorers. Archaeologists. Imperial treasure hunters.
The Unearthed represent humanity’s relentless drive to uncover the unknown. Officially, they operate under Imperial command, tasked with recovering alien artifacts and extracting Memoria data from Slipworlds. Their outward mission is discovery — but beneath that lies political pressure, coercion, and silent threats.
The Empire keeps the Unearthed obedient by holding their loved ones as leverage. What begins as adventure quickly becomes indebted service.
Trailblazers who join the Unearthed are drawn into a web of secrets and manipulation. Missions range from surveying ruins to tracking forbidden technology — and sometimes spying on other Trailblazers. Recruits are forced to confront uncomfortable truths: Will they serve the Empire’s agenda, even when it endangers Providence — or break away and forge their own path?
The Unearthed promise knowledge… but knowledge comes at a cost.

Visionaries. Zealots. Seekers of meaning in the chaos.
Standing in contrast to the Unearthed’s material ambitions, the Dreamers follow a spiritual philosophy wrapped in the language of the Emperor’s “Imperial Dream.” Publicly, they appear loyal. Secretly, they worship an extinct alien species — also called Dreamers — who once helped ignite the ancient war that ended interstellar civilization.
This species left behind artifacts encoded with strange symbolic languages that humans can partially understand. Whether by design or coincidence, these relics have woven themselves into human myth and religion.
The faction is led by Acolyte K-22, an enigmatic drone whose origins are fiercely debated. Some believe K-22 carries fragments of Dreamer consciousness; others claim it is a rogue construct seeking liberation. Whatever the truth, its sermons of peace, unity, and transcendence attract those seeking meaning — or escape — in Providence’s harsh reality.
For Dreamers, every Slipworld is holy ground. Every artifact is a message. And the Singularity is not a threat, but a divine cycle waiting to be understood.

Warriors. Hunters. Glory-seekers forged in the wilds.
The Grand Lodge draws Trailblazers who believe strength is the only true currency. Inspired by the weaponry and traditions of the extinct Krith warrior-species, the Lodge views Providence as the ultimate proving ground.
To join, new hunters must slay the enormous and corrupted beasts that roam the Slipworlds. To rise, they must face even greater prey.
The Lodge was once united under a powerful leader, but his death at the claws of a corrupted monstrosity has thrown the group into turmoil. A ritualized hunting festival has begun to determine his successor.
The favorite contender is Big Red, a renowned warrior infected by the very corruption that killed his mentor. As Trailblazers advance through the Lodge’s ranks, they join Big Red’s personal crusade to cure the infection — a quest that leads them into the deepest Slipworlds, where echoes of ancient Krith spirits supposedly linger.
To the Lodge, the Singularity is not a danger or a mystery. It is a challenge to be conquered.
